February Finds, Favorites & Empties

As February is coming to a close, I thought I’d take this time to share my best finds, and highlight some of my all-star favorites for this month. Let’s jump right in!

New Finds

Laura Mercier® Tinted Moisturizer

If you couldn’t tell by my last post ‘5 Tips for Achieving a Dewy & Natural Face’, I’ve been feeling the natural look lately. While creating that post, I discovered the Laura Mercier® Tinted Moisturizer, and I haven’t been able to put it down ever since! This tinted moisturizer creates an overall healthy and radiant glow — the perfect base for a dewy look.

Revlon® Matte Balm

I have to confess that purchasing the Revlon® Matte Balm in Sultry was a complete impulse buy — one I do not regret, though! If you have naturally chapped lips, like me, finding a lippie that doesn’t completely dry out your lips can be a struggle. So you can only imagine how shocked I was when this drugstore gem kept my lips moisturized and crease-free all day long — what a steal! I’ll definitely be back to pick up some (or all) of their other shades during my next drugstore run.

Botanics Organic Softening Cleanser and Organic Refreshing Toning Spritz

My usual makeup remover hasn’t really been cutting it lately, so this past month I decided to add the Botanics Organic Softening Cleanser and the Botanics Organic Refreshing Toning Spritz to my routine — let’s just say I fell in love! This duo digs deep into my pores and clears out all the makeup and gunk that’s built up throughout the day. I can now sleep soundly knowing my face is squeaky clean.

Oldies but Goodies

YesTo® Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask

One of my go-to face masks for preventing and relieving acne is the YesTo® Tomatoes Detoxifying Charcoal Mud Mask. My skin is heavily influenced by drastic changes in the weather, and this month has been terribly unpredictable. Knowing what this does to my skin, I’ve been applying this mask once a week to my trouble areas (AKA my T-zone, around my nose and under my cheekbones). Thanks to this miracle worker, my face has been surprisingly clear for such fickle weather. What a lifesaver!

Maybelline® Eyestudio® Brow Drama® Sculpting Brow Mascara

I’ve wanted to reshape my brows for a minute now, but to do so I have to let them return to their original shape. So, since mid-Feb, I’ve been going through the grueling, and frankly awkward-looking, process of growing out my eyebrows. The one product that’s made this phase somewhat tolerable is my Maybelline® Eyestudio® Brow Drama® Sculpting Brow Mascara. This gel managed to tame the beasts —keeping them tidy and arched all day. This favorite definitely earned its shoutout this month!
